Wine rack: no household should be without one. I'm thinking the simple one I saw at Binny's. Also, materials for Tiff's sandbox. The troublesome part will be the box itself, I guess. The sand can be borrowed from this good spot I found along the lake.

Remember the folks who will be hanging around our lounge? I'd like to have Dream and Death among them. We might have more of the Endless, but the rest don't seem to fit. Oh, there's also Lucifer, of course, but Luc is hard to draw.

As a result of a conversation with GC today, I have decided to set up a security alarm system. (I will not use my original plan of installing an electro-shock system because all three of us tend to get absent-minded sometimes.)
The way it will work is that the moment you spot an intruder, you hit a button located at a convenient and conspicuous enough spot, the result of which is to activate a super-high decibel alarm siren through our living room speakers. The intruder, whom we shall assume to be of a reasonable level of intelligence, will not waste any time in making his escape.
Buttons will be located in the bedrooms and kitchen. For obvious reasons, my room will not require one.
In addition to this, I'm considering procuring a couple of BB guns (because they can injure, but are not considered lethal firearms). This is, of course, subject to cost considerations and your consent.

Oh my, there's so much things going on in here! I have a couple of suggestions to contribute here. Instead of spending a bomb on a sofa, I suggest getting a really nice low-level japanese table covered with soft tablecloth and nice cushions around it, with nice antique chinese tea set and a heater underneath during winter to keep our feet warm. It will be a perfect place to MUG! haha what do you guys think? Oh, by the way, I am thinking of getting a traditional weiqi set and add to the "gu se gu siang" atmosphere of the whole apartment. What do you guys think?
